Adjusting

Having babies makes you busy.  We have been going, going, going ever since these little guys were born.  For the first two weeks that little Nolan was home we didn't leave the house except when we had to go to the pediatrician, which was frequently in those first two weeks.  Since then, we've had visitors from Early Intervention (following Nolan to make sure he doesn't have any developmental issues), appointments to talk with other doctors, pictures, and lots and lots of visitors.  We have two more doctor appointments this month, as well  as another appointment with Early Intervention, and our first road trip (to Moab for Thanksgiving).  We love our boys.  Since a list of likes and dislikes seems to be popular among blogs of parents with new babies, we'll list a few as well.

Neither of our babies are really binki babies.  They like them sometimes, but only for a minute.
They are both getting used to the bath, and we can make it through without any crying.
Both babies hate having their diapers or clothes changed... like really hate.
Like sleeping, but are starting to enjoy being awake as well.
Love eating.  Both babies try to hold their bottles like they are afraid you are going to take it away.
Both like sleeping in an upright position on your chest.
They like having their arms held down.
They love each other and are aware of the others's needs.  Usually only one baby will cry at a time.
Sometimes they get annoyed when the other is crying.
They like to pee on mom.
Don't yet love tummy time.
They like to stare at their daddy.

They are starting to be more aware of each other, and when you hold them together they usually find each other's hands.

Here are some pictures from the last few weeks.

Twins sure are fun.
